My Pitch To You

Good Evening guys!

Welcome to My Pitch

Introducing:

Eve's Movement Magazine

Winners of the 2017 International Editor of the Year Awards

For the April 2017 cover, a photograph of makeup artist and body painter's work, Anastasia Durasova, made the front page. I have created Eve's Movement magazine in order to expose the new, more modern, forms of art known in this generation's time, as well as to introduce a very talented feminist artist I know. I chose the company title "Eve's Movement" because the story of Adam and Eve was one of the first stories we depicted from our first few images in class. Another reason why i chose the title is because ever since the first class we had, I've been motivated and inspired to get involved with feminism and why others should care too.  The focus of the magazine is on art and the human body, zooming into the female body. There are small recaps on certain sections of the magazine on topics that we have discussed in class such as the male gaze, patriarchy, and a few female artists.

Here is a Sneak Peak of Eve's Movement Magazine Cover:

Aside from all the fun academic stuff, there are mini advertisements where the magazine gives tips on where to go for your summer fun of 2017. For example, a trip to the Brooklyn Museum for professor Cacoilo's birthday or other local museums. Other fun events such as the Governer's Ball, which is a music festival held in New York City.

There are also very important dates in there in concern for the rest of the semester. For instance, we published the date for the Lil Uzi Vert concert that is coming up this Friday, April 28th! Students should buy a ticket ($20) to have fun and relieve some stress before our finals week.
After i turn in this magazine to professor Cacoilo, I will be dropping it off to my high school a few blocks away from Rutgers: Arts High School. Since I graduated from the country's first arts high school, i thought it would be a great idea to give my imput on what i've learned in this course and leave it in the Visual Arts department for incoming college freshmen to see before they head to college. Since my audience is directed towards incoming freshmen, i also have the orientation dates and links to register for Rutgers Newark campus tours for any student interested in coming here.

HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY IT! :)
